Plants are dispatched in growing condition and may not be in full flower. If too tall to pack safely, we may cut them back — this helps them establish more quickly. Read our Mail Order FAQs.
Achillea ‘Walther Funcke’ bears sprays of bright orange-red flowers with distinct yellow centres above grey foliage in summer. The blooms fade to cream as they mature. A favourite of RHS Hampton Court show garden designers, it produces masses of flowers over a long period.
Try it in a hot-coloured border alongside lower-growing ornamental grasses. Grow it in full sun in free-draining soil.

Care Guide:
Achillea is drought tolerant once established but dislikes heavy, wet clay over winter. Cut back after the first flush of flowers to encourage repeat-flowering. Divide clumps every three to four years to keep plants vigorous.
